shadows
I am continuously fascinated by shadows, they inspire both my illustration and my performance work. This ongoing project explores postmodern illustration in children's books and the place of the reader in the construction of meaning. The illustrations use the shadow devices to create layers of meaning, combined with paper cuts and drawing.
